Master’s Combined Dietetic Internship Calendar Options for the KADDI MSDI Program

The KADDI Master of Science and Dietetic Internship (MSDI) program provides flexible scheduling tracks to support your academic and professional journey to becoming a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). These internship calendar options are customized to align with your selected university partner—either the University of Alabama or the University of Central Arkansas—and are structured to synchronize graduate coursework with supervised practice hours.

Available MSDI Program Tracks

14-Month MSDI Program
For students enrolled exclusively with the University of Alabama, this accelerated track allows completion of both graduate coursework and supervised practice in just over a year. Ideal for candidates seeking an intensive program that expedites eligibility for the RDN exam.

18-Month MSDI Program
This standard-length program is offered in partnership with both the University of Alabama and the University of Central Arkansas. It provides a balanced timeline that integrates academic learning with hands-on dietetics training.

Each calendar includes detailed breakdowns of:

  • Supervised practice hour distribution

  • Academic coursework scheduling

  • Vacation or break periods

  • Key milestones and evaluation checkpoints

Interns are encouraged to select the calendar that best aligns with their educational goals, lifestyle, and desired graduation timeline.
