Complete your MS in Nutrition and Dietetics with Texas Tech University
KADDI internship has established a partnership with Texas Tech University to provide interns with the opportunity to enroll in a fully online, 30 credit-hour Master of Science program in Nutrition and Dietetics. This partnership will work with our student-identified graduate degree track where students can finish their graduate degree at Texas Tech while completing the dietetic internship program. This partnership allows additional graduate degree options to meet student needs and is an affordable option allowing students to complete a graduate degree and DI program for less than $26,000.
Program Structure:
The TTU online Master's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics stands out for our practice-based and work-centered design. The degree is 100% online and asynchronous which allows flexibility for interns to complete the degree at their pace and provides courses that increase the necessary knowledge and skills utilized in nutrition and dietetics practice areas such as:

Leading dietitians and experts in the field develop and teach the classes at Texas Tech. This allows each student to receive up-to-date information and practice standards currently utilized in specific dietetics career areas.
Program Duration:
Students can choose to include a concentration in their program with no additional course work. To include a concentration, students will be required to take the same 9 hours of core courses, 9 hours of concentration specific courses, and 12 hours of electives.

Nutrition and Healthy Weight

The weight management concentration is designed to develop skills and an understanding of the cultural, environmental, psychosocial, physical and economic factors associated with obesity and weight management. This concentration will enhance students' ability to work with individuals to develop successful strategies for weight management.

Nutrition and Sports

The sports nutrition concentration is designed for people who seek to provide sports nutrition information to athletes and physically active individuals. Concepts include designing and implementing nutrition programs, interpreting research in the field of sports nutrition, counseling athletes, evaluating supplements and ergogenic aids, and working with special athlete populations.

Nutrition in the Lifecycle

This concentration is designed to provide a critical examination of behavioral, physiological and public health issues impacting dietary and nutritional factors that support normal growth and development through the lifecycle.

Program completion:
Time is dependent upon how many hours each student takes each semester. Students will need to complete 30 credit hours (9 hours of core courses and 21 hours of electives) to complete the degree. For a complete degree plan and course offerings visit: NTDT-Non-Thesis-Degree-Plan-2022.
In addition, all students receive in-state tuition and financial aid is available for students who qualify. Although variable, the total cost (tuition and fees) for the program is ~$15,000. APPLICATION STEPS FOR MSDI
Complete Your Graduate School Application for Texas Tech University

If you are interested in pursuing your MS degree through Texas Tech University, while completing your dietetic internship through KADDI , email Dr. Childress at allison.childress@ttu.edu to let her know of your interest. Then, be sure to complete your application to the Graduate School at Texas Tech University by April 15th (summer start), July 15th (fall start) or November 15th (spring start).
Please note the following when submitting your graduate school application:

Select the correct admission term

Include unofficial transcripts from all colleges/universities attended (official transcripts will be required within your first semester of classes), resume, contact information for two individuals to write a letter of recommendation and one of the following: DPD Verification Statement, CDR card or your D&D Digital Match

Pay the application fee​

Complete your DICAS application.
With our partnership, you will be eligible to submit with our priority application dates. This allows your application to be reviewed and receive acceptance to KADDI before other students. The dates for priority application are:
