MISSION & GOALS

Program Mission

The mission of the Keith & Associates Distance Dietetic Internship is to train dietetic interns to become competent entry-level registered dietitian nutritionists delivering the highest possible standard of quality for patient care and also the highest standard of professionalism and customer care.

Program Goals

 1. Prepare graduates to become competent entry-level dietitians.

 2. Prepare graduates to deliver the highest possible standard of quality for patient care and the highest         standard of professionalism and customer care.

Program Objectives

  •  At least 80% of full-time program interns complete program requirements within 12 months (150% of the program length). 

  • At least 80% of part-time program interns complete program requirements within 24 months (150% of the program length).

  • Of graduates who seek employment, 75 % are employed in nutrition and dietetics or related fields within 12 months of graduation.

  • Eighty percent of graduates take the CDR credentialing exam for dietitian nutritionists within 12 months of program completion.

  • Seventy-five percent of employers will answer “agree” that they are satisfied with graduate’s preparation for entry-level practice.

  • Seventy-five percent of graduates will answer “agree” that they were prepared for entry-level practice. (program-specific goal)

  • At least 75% of employers will answer “agree” that they feel graduates deliver the highest possible standard of quality for patient care and the highest standard of professionalism and customer care. (program-specific goal)
